การควบคุมแบบ PID Control หรือ Proportional Integral Derivative Control
     เป็นกระบวนการควบคุมอย่างหนึ่ง ที่นิยมนำมาใช้ในการควบคุมอุณหภูมิ โดยสามารถแก้ไขปัญหา การเกิด Offset Error ที่สถานะคงตัวของระบบได้ โดยสามารถหาค่าตัวแปรของ PID

ผลของ P ACTION
     สามารถเพิ่มผลของ P action ได้โดยลดค่า PB ลง จะมีผลทำให้
          • มีค่า Offset น้อยลง
          • มี Overshoot สูงขึ้น เกิดการแกว่งมากขึ้น
          • ระบบขาดเสถียรภาพมากขึ้น ถ้าลดค่า PB มากเกินไป จะทำให้ระบบ Oscillate

ผลของ I ACTION
     สามารถเพิ่มผลของ I action ได้โดยลดค่า TI ลง จะมีผลทำให้
          • ไม่มี Offset
          • มี Overshoot สูงขึ้น เกิดการแกว่งมากขึ้น
          • ระบบขาดเสถียรภาพมากขึ้น ถ้าลดค่า TI มากเกินไป จะทำให้ระบบ Oscillate หรือ Unstable

ผลของ D ACTION
     สามารถเพิ่มผลของ D action ได้โดยเพิ่มค่า TD ลง จะมีผลทำให้
          • มี Overshoot ลดลงมีคาบการแกว่งสั้นลง
          • ระบบมีเสถียรภาพมากขึ้น ไวขึ้น
          • ในระบบที่เร็วอยู่แล้ว จะขาดเสถียรภาพ
