Kytola Variable area flow meter block VExA for oil (Finland)

Simplified the basic operational principle of a multi-tube VExA variable area flow meter block is the following: oil flow raises the float in the tapered tube of the flow meter. This increases the area for passage of the oil. The free area is related to the flow rate, oil viscosity and the weight of the float. In other words: the greater the flow, the higher the float is raised.

The VExA flow meter has a sturdy construction, it is made to withstand harsh industrial conditions. The flow tubes are made of heavy-duty impact resistant polymer. Each flow tube has its individual flow adjustment valve on the outlet. The block has a quick-change tube feature. End blocks are made of aluminium.
